remember the thread from a while ago, where i compared axl rose to helge schneider, yet another german comedian...so now stefan raab (german tv-clown) being axl rose(also red hair) makes much more sense...but theres another redhaired kid that might be of the same famly, and that is snowboarder shaun white...even as a kid he ripped like hell, and later when he hit his teens, he was easily the worlds best snowboarder, similar to terje haakonsen one generation ago. (i know about snowboarding cuz i was a big fan in my teenage years, but never could cut it in the pipe really, never been able to land a 540°, but on big kickers doing straight method or mute grabs, i wasn´t that bad..."....so the story about shaun white travelling in a van to diffrent resorts in california, hardly being able to raise money for the lift tickets, is complete bogus, but of course i dont hve to explain that, do i....another thing you will mark, is he had his heyday, for about 5 years, but since snowboarding is a very fastpaced sport soon went into sports managements (like many former athletes), and tried himself as an entrepreneur...he was also the first man to have his private halfpipe, with his own pipe-dragon (this big machine thats used to keep the pipe in shape)...finally he is credited with bringing snowboarding to china, with the "air&style peking" event that is similar to the legendary innsbruck air&style in austria....biggest and best snowboard event in the world...in the meantime like with evrything, the chinese have caught up with the west and produce some really good snowboarders...
