markus wasmeier german ski-legend really son of willy bogner (an even bigger ski-legend)...

when my famly was smaller, us kids would gather round the tv set in winter, watching the ski competitions, there was slalom, super-g and finally the downhill races, where skiers developed great speeds, and sometimes had spectacular accidents... most of em (thank ALF) were rather harmless... the womens team of germany wearing the famous "tiger suit" was always in the top ranks, but as to the men, there was only one skier who could compete in the top positions, his name "markus wasmeyer"...
i just found out who he is, it was easy... just go for the biggest names, and you get your catch, even a caveman can do this...
markus wasmeyer even won olympic gold once... his father was in the james bond movie in the famous skiing scene where he escapes the russian hitmen, jumping to his freedom on skis, gliding down on a parachute (colored in the union jack)...
all these people have been making skiing films for years and years... even as far back as leni riefenstahl, meaning as early as film was invented...to bring the great landscapes of the moutnains to the city dwellers who couldnt afford it... this IMHO is a great feat... when i first saw the mountains first hand , my mouth stood open...
so markus wasmeier is son of willy bogner jr.
just look at that nose... like i said the modern finds are now too easy... thats why i now specialize in history research...
bogner Jr. also looks simlar to prince philip...  the brand "bogner" is been a market leader in all things ski and winter sports... he also keeps making his own movies for imax-theatres and more... always on the cuting edge of where winter sports is going...
here the wikia...
and here the son... markus wasmeier...
remember these 80s skiing scenes from teh bond movies... that was all willy junior jumping in as stunt double for roger moore...
and thats where we are today in 2013, triple corks in the halfpipe, snowboard as an olympic discipline, and 5346827 HD-gopro-actioncams mounted onto a helmet, all for a single scene.... thats rediculous... give us the old days, one simple camera is more than enough... when i was 15 i was a huuuge snowboarding fan, videotaped evry singlehalfpipe competition, but in real life was too tall and lanky to be a good freestyler... but nevermind, you cant excell in all things...
