the impeccable surf equipment of mossad-alf

the last couple threads were without comment. i always kick myself when writing something i deem relevant only to delete it later cause it sounds stupid.
before we go into the next batch of comparisons, check out this awesome card game. theres all the best surf spots from all over the world, complete with what sort of suit you need and what kindof ocean floor, gravel, sand, pebbles, rocks.. this game is really amazing.
surfing has become one of the worlds most destructive sports due to the large amount of surfers today, also boards are still made from resin and foam, and only partly recycled. and dont get me started on all the long distance travel. most of which happens in airplanes.. if you have successfully digested the last batch of pictures (and the ones still to come) you know that all your surf heroes live on a footprint thats ten times your own. and probably thats a good thing. not everybody has the calling to kook up the planet with constant travel, advertizing of products, and later running for governor using a completely fake name and identity.
think i wouldnt last a day in their shoes but these people dont seem to have a problem.. to each his own.
but first heres the rest of the card game...
you dont even need to buy the whole stormrider guide if you have this game...
if you´re rich you can just play "pick a card" and then fly to the next surfspot..
i bet you´ll end up in places you´d never think existed..
these are the two jokers, jaws and teahupoo.. big waves ! big cameras ! and big kookyness..
before presenting you the next batch of pictures I´m gonna also show you my boards further down..
this is my longboard... i´ve never ridden it, bought probably 15 yrs ago travelling halfway through the country BY TRAIN. can you believe it..
bought it from a guy on ebay back when ebay could give you a steal. before it became mainstream.
the guy looked like a junkie who needed the money.. but well lots of people look like junkies.
still havent figured out this planet..
standard thruster layout. fins glassed in. no FCS..
these are the specs, shaper is GUL, a british company. its large enough to float me even tho i gained a rediculous amount of weight over the last years. on melmac i`d win the annual fur-ball contest with ease..
the deck looks nice, right ? you dont need LSD when you ride this board..
the surfcat tests the leash for wear and tear...
before hiding back in its favourite spot...
then theres the stepup. the original first board i had and believe it or not in 3 weeks i caught a single good wave. guys for the record.. before you ever buy a surfboard. make a course. at least one week. and stick with the big rubbercow they´ll hand you. you´ll learn so much. you can prevent many injuries and learn how to tackle waves proper. you´ll need it later when it gets big you dont wanna be the kook who messes up the party for the other guy. many things can go wrong in the water. and lineups are very crowded nowadays. most places.
it has a cryptic omen engraved in it. which i havent deciphered yet.. thats why i keep it in the boardbag lest some crazy archaeologist decides its culturally relevant common good.. in this country it happens all the time..
wonderful blue gorilla pads remind of the 90s...pure nostalgia..
thin and sharp rails. this is the ideal indo board for lets say 120-170 lbs surfer. you cant surf this board as a beginner its unforgiving, has a double concave pintail an goes 0-100 in less than 2 seconds.. it does have enough volume but the volume is not where you´d want it for a beginner..
 thats the specs...
its got some water dings..see the nice old fcs plugs. today the plugs are bigger. probably whoever invented FCS deserves the nobel prize...

and there goes the luke egan autograph... taken on a pro contest late 90s
in hossegor, Landes, southwest france..
if you paid attention. you also know who he is.

now fasten your seatbelts put in your favourite old surf video, and grab the kleenex wipes..
cause we´re gonna continue with female surfers..
