johnny weissmüller = buster crabbe (US actor)

lets talk about a guy who goes by the funny name of johnny weissmuller. in fact his german name is really written with an "ü", an umlaut. but the Umlaut Monster has sued me for copyrights. so i have to spell it the american way.

 when i was young an going on a holiday camp there was a busdriver in his 50s, all bearded an stuff , looking like jerry garcia from the grateful dead and as i bough a can of soda from the little fridge in his bus he opened it and said "there you go, johnny weissmüller"... an i wondered who the heck is johnny weissmüller... he was a hollywood actor, and quite popular for his tarzan movies. he also was an olympic swimmer who earned olympic medals like 1928 in amsterdam or 1924 in paris.

 johnny weissmüller looks really similar to jean claude van damme, the martial arts specialist and actor.
but i cant go any further into that right now..

 lets rather make a proper set of matches... cause johnny weissmüller, born in 1904 is actually another US actor by the name of buster crabbe, born 1908. dont mix this crab up with the other buster crabb, the cousteau alter and british navy diver. they´re two different people. and besides this one has a much smaller nose.

 see the two faces. they´re the same guy..all landmarks are identical.

 and so are the ears..

 the lips and the calm eyes. and also the same hair with lots of grease in it.

this girl called me up on a skype chat and said she wanted to bust a crab for buster crabb.
so i just let her do her thing. otherwise who knows where that crab might have ended up..
crabs are sneaky and walk sideways.. the perfect ambush animal and they attack in large groups too.

 see here buster crabb is wearing a french foreign legion helmet. in the middle of the former century where they glorified the FFL and made movies like "beau geste", but that was before the battle of dien bien phu, where the french got their ass kicked like hell, and had to call in the USMC, which then in return got their ass kicked like hell, as well..

 so dont pay attention to the hat its just theatrical property.. left side buster crabbe right side weissmuller.

 and both are the same. and so the light always throws the exact same shadows..

 this is joe hartman, who also doubled as tarzan for weissmüller, he went to become a radiologist. couldnt find enough pictures for him to compare but might as well be the same person again.

 now to the wifes, they are also identical. above you see the IMDB for bobbe arnst, born in 1903, wife of johnny weissmüller, who was married 6 times. but i havent compared these all as of yet.

 and 1903 bobbe arnst is identical to 1912 adah virginia held crabbe, wife of US actor buster crabbe.
by the way theres also a german sprinter (athletics) from the 90s by the name of katrin krabbe (born 1969) who i busted with another television alter (katrin müller-hohenstein, born 1965), but that goes into the collateral department i guess...

 so here the two wives, with same curly hair, and exact same hand placement. remember habits are hard to beat. same eyes and brows as well.

 i caught tarzan and jane recently on a secret island, hanging out by the bonfire in rocker garb and listening to what could hardly be called music. they said they needed a break from the whole hollywood craze...
