all famous surf brands have been started by legendary figures that are just that.. legendary..
most surf apparel today is sold to people who never even have stepped on a surfboard. its pure marketing. but every sport has the right to fend for itself. and surfing just looks so stylish.
i´m not shure with this find. probably O Neill and jack nicholson arent the same guy but jack nicholsons daughter today is surfing the pro circuit and also is a top snowboarder who won gold medals. you´ll find out later.. so therefore jack nicholson also must have surf alters that i havent found yet..
most pro surfers have an australian, a south african and a californian and/or florida alter. then of course as language permits they can be also british (scotland an cornwall has good surf, ireland has good coldwater breaks in the winter), or french, portuguese, spanish. some even german (sylt), norwegian or swedich..
just like theres a british championships for skiing annually. some sports are accessible through airports, but they take their toll on the environment. not that these people would care, really.. they just live on a larger foot than most of us..
