both have lots of skinmarks in the face. height the same, age the same. both guitarplayers and songwriters, one more serious, the other a jackass. both (supposedly) died young. same ear. same profile. only minor differences. this must have been the same guy. how did they manage with his hair ? did he wear a wig or what ?
when we were back in school some 12 yrs ago, we had a creepy old teacher that was a zappa fan, and played us really weird stuff like "welcome to the united states of america". not only is it a complete oddball piece of art (zappa was also a conductor), but it also makes fun of operation paperclip.

I'm doing an analysis of Jim and Frank right now... I'm finding that many stars and even politicos kill off their old personas and take on a new identity for ether security reasons, or to rid themselves of a stereotype... i.e. Graham Parsons faked his death and became known as Captain Beefheart, Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter of the Grateful Dead were known as Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens... RFK is now known as Jimmy Carter, and JFK now goes by the name George H. W. Bush... Entertainers inform our society of fools, and entertainers often play more than one role upon the worlds stage...
Good stuff. They were also both of Italian descent. (To state the obvious.) And I believe the astute listener will draw several parallels between Bad Bad Leroy Brown and Bobby Brown. Um, I may be saying too much here...
I saw jim croce live. He had zappa on stage at the same time.. I was very high at the time as most zappa listeners amirite.. maybe early hologram technology?? could be worth investigating. down and out captain!
