the lie is not in their proficiency as mountaineers, which obviously they have, being rich and intelligent, climbing everywhere all over the world. the lie is when they die. they give a mountain a bad rating that is otherwise doable. they also are much more involved in sherpa culture than you think. guess who's head surgeon in the biggest hospital in kathmandu and elsewhere. probably not a native, but a man appearing native. so the lie is when they die. also people still believe Reinhold Messner financed his trips by selling books and tapes, just a few days ago he was again for a 2hour lecture in a city nearby. people pay 50 quid to hear him talk for 2 hours. but can't see that he's a businessman first, explorer second. also the fake crocodile tears he jerks out everytime he retells the story about his brother Günther Messner, dieing on Nanga Parbat. it's just retarded. none of these people can die. few of them even get injured. they have spiritual protection. look at all the fake frozen toes and fingers they present. they use black paint to simulate frostbite. so that's another lie for you.
They also bring fake carcasses up tgere, or re-use already present ones to make them look like george mallory etc. That's another lie. Once you start lieing, you gotta lie til you die.
