Tenzing Norgay, nepali-indian mountaineer, the sherpa who made the first successful attempt at mount everest with edmund hillary, is also yoichi miura, the first man to ski down mount everest. that was in the seventies. he is still trying to break records with yet another nepalese alter.
then tenzing norgay (alias miura and sherchan) also looks a whole lot like apa sherpa,
very likely a son or grandson.
