i havent found sami birnbach, lead singer of minimal compact yet, but his son. he is singer of german punk band "die ärzte" (the doctors), goes by the name of Farin Urlaub, which really is merely a wordplay for "vacation"... then he´s also frontman of german disco band SCOOTER that made the charts with brainless lyrics like "hyper hyper" but are nonetheless great for dancing...his alias there is "HP Baxxter".. in the vid above he´s singing a song from billy idol... i checked the ears adn idol is a bit smaller man 175cm, dark voice, muscular body and ears are defo related... then i got carried away in comparing, but still dont know who he is... so lets keep it simple and stick to baxxter+ farin urlaub.
