ANCIENT ROME -- julius caesar was cornelios nepos

cornelios nepos, a roman historian, must be identical to julius caesar (born around 100BC), first emperor of rome after the days as a republic were over...we all know him from the funny asterix comic books, read by children (and adults) all across europe, but not very famous in north america.
all great historians like josephus, manetho, and others, were merely alters that people pursued when they had enough time on their hands in later age, after having left the bustling & hustling of the world stage...until today gajus julius is the namesake for all later roman emperors, when you say "caesar" without further addition or definite article, its always him you refer to..
de viris illustribus, the main work of nepos... he is writing about the exploits of his ancestors, and forefathers of his own famly clan...just look at the face of scipio africanus, who lived around 100 yrs prior, and you know we´re dealing with an entire lineage.. all the other famous characters, cleopatra marc anthony, and what-do-i-know, were all famly members..
 exact same BD
de bello gallico is a standard work to be read in school when you take latin class...
now something else thats quite intriguing. wanna see a picture of my childhood crush ?

this is her, she´s from the same village as me but completely diffrent famly background and diffrent outlook on life. she successfully runs her own event management company today. her name in german sounds like "cheesemaker" but you can tell from all her siblings names, who are also of famous roman aristocracy, that theres more than "cheese" to the whole concept of her background. when i told her during our 10-year graduation anniversary meeting, she shrug it off as if it was a mere coincidence.  "kaisar" means caesar in hebrew...
