France Gall - part 1

Let's take a look at french singer France Gall, who was first advertised as "Baby Pop" wondergirl of the Yéyé era in France, the 60s and 70s. She had hits like "les sucettes", or "poupee de cire" and countless others. A small woman with a great career, not all of her alters are still alive. But the woman behind the alters certainly is.

(Ann Louise Hanson has a more solid face and demeanor, also both have been together on stage, i suspect this is actually her sister. she also must have countless other famous singing and acting alters in over a dozen countries.)

Now to another extremely cheeky alter, don't let the funny red hair dye and leprechaun makeup fool you, she might be small, but her singing is the most cocky and energetic of all. Sounding more like Gianna Nannini, only in few songs does the similarity show, but its this alter that put the last nail in the coffin for the husband, who you will see in a few threads, also is a bigtime american singer. So Rita Pavone and France Gall are definitely identical in body. only the identity and sales angle differs. also both are named after birds, "pavone" is italian for peacock, and the gallic rooster is the national symbol of france.

I will not even bother to comment here.. I'm at a loss of words, because France Gall is also Connie Francis. Connie fuckin' Francis. One of the biggest american singers of all time. her favorite song for me right now is "Tennessee Waltz". a really soothing and beautiful piece. let's look at the pictures, shall we..

in case you think that was it, remember we're "only" looking at the singing alters. she has just as many acting alters for each country, and this was just the first part of the series. on to part no.2   --->
